new job?
So I talked to a lawyer yesterday regarding the H-1 visa as well as applying for a green card. However, what he told me was not very comforting. Basically the chances of me getting a H-1 is very slim, because everyone can cook. You don’t really need a 4 year bachelor’s degree in order to work at a restaurant. However, if I go for a management position I might have a better chance. Or open my own lovely restaurant. So, here I go again looking for a new job because my current restaurant cannot really support me. The lawyer does have a point. I mean look at the restaurant everywhere have people who didn’t go to school. At least he was being very honest about my situation.
Can’t do anything now, but at least I know that God is in control of this matter. However, I still have to do my part to look for a management job, and He closes a door down, but will open another door for me.

Sorry to hear that brother! I can relate to your frustration and disappointment, since I am in a similar situation. However, we believe in Him, and we believe what is going to happen next is the best plan He prepared for us.
